- Argelès is an ancient Catalan town, which oozes Southern charm, with narrow streets, bordered by houses with river pebble façades. The village is lively all year round, with its numerous shops and traditional market.
Argelès Beach : Since 1986, Argelès-sur-mer and Port-Argelès, hold the « Pavillon Bleu » (Blue Flag).
This label, symbol of an exemplary environmental quality, floats on 6 beaches on the coast of Argelès.
- The history of Argelès dates back to ancient times, with a rich cultural and historical heritage and countless monuments to visit.
- The Notre Dame Del Prats medieval church is situated in the heart of the old town close to the Catalan Museum of Popular Traditions and Art: the Casa de les Alberes museum (workshop exhibition of the main craft trades of the late 19th century). Fortifications, Tour de la Massane (late 13th century)
- There are several châteaux to visit in particular, the grounds of the Château de Valmy stretching over 5 hectares, where different birds of prey (eagles, vultures, milans…) provide a free flight show. The Château Taxo d’Avall and the Viscount’s Chapel, and the Château de Pujol.
- Two nature reserves: the forest of La Massane and the Mas Larrieu nature reserve – one in the mountains and the other beside the sea.

From Paris: Take the A10 to Vierzon, then the A71 towards Clermont Ferrand, then continue on the A75 until you reach Montpellier. From there, follow the A9 (the Languedocienne) in the direction of Narbonne-Perpignan. Come off at exit 42 (Perpignan Sud) and take the D914 towards Argelès.
Leave at exit 12 (Port Argelès). The aparthotel is located on the marina.
